Silver Lake Hills Outdoor Entertaining Area
HBS Designs reconfigured the backyard of this 1950’s Silver Lake home creating a modern feel and larger entertaining area while preserving the backyard’s privacy and natural beauty.
We first removed the worn and broken flagstone patio and non-functioning, built-in wood-burning barbecue along with an elm tree that was uprooting the backyard.
We then pumped and poured custom-made light gray concrete for the backyard hardscape and jacuzzi deck and built an entertainment area featuring L-shaped bench seating and built-in barbecue with a natural gas fire pit and countertop.
Around the pool area, we cantilevered off the deck creating an additional eighty square feet, and installed 8×24 non-slip, Italian wood-grain cool-surface tile, creating the maximum space for relaxing by the poolside.
The backyard was finished with low-voltage, LED landscape lighting, and new planters and flowerbeds to create a gorgeous outdoor space.
